Terms And Conditions
These terms govern use of MyMeridian, a profitability dashboard for Shopify stores. They apply when a merchant installs or uses the service. MyMeridian is not publicly distributed yet; its final individual publisher identity and governing law will be supplied before Shopify submission.
1. The Service
MyMeridian reads a merchant’s Shopify orders, products, cost per item and fulfilments, applies the cost rules that merchant configures, and presents profit, product, pricing and fulfilment analysis derived from them. It identifies a missing, measured or configured input instead of silently turning an unavailable cost into zero. It requests read-only Shopify access and makes no change to any store.
The service is provided as it exists at the time of use. Features may be added, changed or withdrawn; where a change removes something a paid plan was sold on, affected merchants will be told before it takes effect.
2. Eligibility And Accounts
MyMeridian is available to merchants operating a Shopify store. The Shopify installation path requires no separate signup: access is authenticated by Shopify, and whoever Shopify authorises as a staff member of the store with app access can use it. Keeping that staff list correct is the merchant’s responsibility. Optional standalone MyMeridian accounts, where enabled, use their own authentication, multi-factor protection and sensitive-action reauthentication.
3. Plans, Billing And Trials
Charges are created and collected through the Shopify Billing API and appear on the merchant’s own Shopify invoice. We never see or handle a card number. Prices are stated in US dollars and exclude any tax Shopify applies.
| Plan | Monthly | Annual | Effective Monthly On Annual Billing |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $49 | $490 | $40.83 |
| Growth | $129 | $1,290 | $107.50 |
| Scale | $299 | $2,990 | $249.17 |
- Every plan begins with a 14-day free trial. No charge is made during the trial, and the trial can be ended at any time by uninstalling.
- Subscriptions renew automatically — monthly plans every 30 days, annual plans every 365 days — until cancelled.
- Annual plans are billed in one payment for the year and are priced at ten times the monthly rate, so two months are free.
- An upgrade takes effect after Shopify’s approval flow and may be prorated under Shopify’s billing rules. A downgrade remains on the current plan until the next billing cycle, then takes effect without interrupting the current paid period.
- If MyMeridian uses its order-usage charge, Shopify presents it for approval as $0.05 per order above the plan’s soft monthly threshold, capped at $50 per billing period. No charge is created outside Shopify Billing, and MyMeridian will not activate a usage charge in production without Shopify’s required approval flow.
4. Cancellation And Refunds
Uninstalling the app cancels the subscription with it — there is nothing else to cancel. Uninstalling ends app access and stops future renewal through Shopify. Any refund is handled through Shopify’s applicable process; MyMeridian does not promise a pro-rata refund.
Refund requests may be reviewed case by case. Because Shopify collects the payment, any approved refund is issued through Shopify. The planned support address is support@mymeridian.io; it is not yet active and will be monitored before these terms become effective.
5. Acceptable Use
A merchant must not:
- use MyMeridian to access or analyse a store they are not authorised to operate;
- attempt to breach, probe or circumvent the app’s authentication, its per-store isolation, or Shopify’s;
- resell, sublicense or present the service as their own;
- copy, scrape or redistribute the app’s interface or analysis in bulk as a competing product;
- use the service unlawfully, or to process data they have no lawful basis to process.
We may suspend access where use of the service threatens the security, integrity or availability of the service for others, and will say why when we do.
6. Data And Ownership
The merchant owns their store data. We claim no ownership of it and do not sell it, share it with advertisers or use it to train machine-learning models. What is read, stored and retained is set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
We own the MyMeridian software, its interface and its analytical methods. Nothing here transfers any of that.
7. Analysis Is Information, Not Advice
This clause is the one worth reading twice. MyMeridian produces profit figures, pricing recommendations and capacity forecasts from a store’s own data and the cost rules a merchant enters. Those outputs are information to inform a decision, not professional advice, and they are not accounting, tax, legal or investment advice.
- Accuracy depends on inputs we do not control — above all cost per item. Where a cost is missing, MyMeridian marks the input as missing and qualifies the resulting figure rather than presenting the missing amount as a measured zero.
- Pricing recommendations are fitted only to price history MyMeridian observes after installation, and are capped and confidence-gated. They remain predictions; demand may not respond as modelled, and acting on one is the merchant’s commercial decision.
- Figures shown are not a substitute for the merchant’s accounts, and should not be filed or relied on as accounting records.
8. Availability
We aim to keep MyMeridian available continuously but do not commit to a guaranteed uptime percentage under these terms. The service depends on Shopify’s APIs and on third-party infrastructure, and may be interrupted by their outages, by maintenance, or by rate limits Shopify imposes. MyMeridian will not represent provider connections, production performance or Shopify approval as complete until those checks have been verified in the relevant environment.
9. Warranties And Liability
The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost profits, lost revenue, lost or corrupted data, or any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss; and our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount paid for it in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, in which case the exclusion applies only so far as that jurisdiction permits.
10. Changes To These Terms
We may update these terms. The “last updated” date above changes with them, and material changes will be notified to installed merchants before taking effect. Continuing to use the service after that point means accepting the updated terms.
11. Termination
A merchant may end this agreement at any time by uninstalling. We may end it on notice, or immediately for a serious or repeated breach of section 5. On termination, access stops and data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.
12. Governing Law And Disputes
MyMeridian will be published by its founder as an individual. The applicable law and final publisher identity will be added before Shopify submission. MyMeridian will not borrow another product’s jurisdiction.
13. Contact
The production domain is https://mymeridian.io and the support address is support@mymeridian.io. MyMeridian is not publicly distributed yet; support delivery and monitoring will be verified before public distribution. The final publisher identity and governing-law details will be supplied before Shopify submission.
